Minutes

The Annual Meeting of the Pittsville Area Historical Society was held on April10, 2025. The end of the year Secretary and Treasurer reports were presented and approved. The main order of business was the election of officers for the year. They are as follows: President-Randy Fochs, Vice-President-Chris Nepper, Treasure-Lynn Jankowski, Secretary-Mary Czaja. Committee chairs were appointed. The Pittsville Record was named the designated newspaper for meeting notices and minutes and Partners Bank of Marshfield was named the designated depository of funds. The date for next years Annual Meeting was set for April 9,2026.

The April Monthly meeting followed. It was called to order by President Randy Fochs. The Secretary and Treasurer reports were presented and approved.

Old Business began with a report by Jan Patrick about the progress she is making on Book 10 in the Stories of Our LIves series. She has the names of 40 Vietnam Vets from the area. Some of their stories are finished and others are in the works.

Chris Buchanan reported that the Brat Fry is scheduled for May 31 at the Cenex Station.

New Business started with a report by Peg Rademan for the Garden and Grounds Commitee. The beds will be cleaned and new mulch will be placed where needed. The privacy fence will be restained soon after while the plants are still small. New gravel will be put on the drivewaiy this summer.
